For the first time and on behalf of the Berliner Wasserbetriebe as the water supplier of Germany's capital city Berlin, the company Karl Weiss Technologies GmbH presented the fabric-hose relining technology of a DN 1000 sewer pressure pipeline with an MAOP (PN) of 10 bar made of low-carbon steel using the starline®HPL-S technology (Figure 1 and 2) in conjunction with the Exhibition Wasser Berlin International and International NO DIG Conference in May 2011. This construction project is carried out using the fabric-hose relining technology in two sections to permanently restore operational safety of two sewer pressure pipelines with a DN 750 diameter (construction section 1) and a DN 1000 dia-meter (construction section 2) with a total length of about 1300 m in Frankfurter Allee in Berlin-Friedrichshain.
