Reducing the Carbon Footprint of Heat Treatment

Due to changing ecological and economic conditions, carbon neutrality is becoming more and more important – also in the field of heat treatment. On the one hand, the heat treatment process and the heat treatment concept must be critically examined, and on the other hand, concrete answers must be given with regard to the plant technology. In the context of this paper, the focus will be on heating systems, waste heat recovery and the process gas aspect.
