Modern high temperature materials provide a demand reduction of energy and fuel for industrial furnaces. Exemplary three components will be described which can be produced from the materials CFC (for reducing atmosphere) and SiSiC (for oxidizing atmosphere). Fans out of those materials increase the convective heat transmission against steel components as the temperature rises, resulting in a reduction of times for heating and cooling. Fixture systems of those materials are more stable in shape and lead to lower reservoir losses during batch processes. Recuperators reach higher operation temperatures with these new materials.
