The European natural gas markets are currently undergoing fundamental changes in order to create a more sustainable and secure energy sector. An integrated market is crucial in achieving higher competitiveness of the European gas sector, which will increase security of supply, services and efficiency. The integration levels can be measured in relation to gas prices across the EU.
