Research centre for combined optimum burner and furnace chamber design

New generation patented burners matching the best available technology and performances using flame and flameless combustion have been designed by Danieli Centro Combustion to accomplish increasingly demanding targets in several applications and respond to customer requirements. These technologies include flame or flameless combustion and have been developed for central energy recovery mode (in waste gas extraction) or local recovery mode (recuperative – regenerative) to offer customers a wide array of solutions. Systems are tested in the laboratory and fired with fuels requested by the customer before installation at the plant. An important aspect in the design of modern and efficient industrial furnaces is a correctly designed combustion process which combines many technical choices and offers considerable advantages in furnace optimization.
