The technological requirements for the forging process are forced by the needs of a modern production cycle. Changing the billet size requires a solution for emptying the coils, to rebuild the system for another product. ABP has developed and emptying solution where the billets can be heated and forged until the last billet, in connection with the multi-zonal-heating systems. A fully automated system reduces the downtime, so that the return of invest will be realized in short time.
